THEATRE & DANCE
My practice moves across physical theatre, visual theatre and contemporary dance, often taking different forms and roles depending on the process. Rather than working within a single discipline, I am interested in what happens at their intersection.
I trained as an actor in Physical Theatre at the Institut del Teatre in Barcelona (2015), and later specialised in Visual Theatre at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Stuttgart (2017). Along the way, I have continued my training in circus, contemporary dance, Body Weather and other physical practices, as well as completing a Master’s degree in Cultural Identities.
At the centre of my practice is an interest in the relationship between body and material. I explore how objects, textures, materials and space can affect the body and become active elements of a scene. This often leads me towards processes where the boundaries between performer, movement, object and scenography become less fixed.
I work as a performer and stage creator, and collaborate in different processes as an outside eye, assistant director and movement director. I also work with construction and scenography.
Since 2016, I have combined my artistic practice with teaching, developing and facilitating workshops for diverse groups and contexts, both locally and internationally.
Alongside artistic work, I am involved in cultural production and collective structures. I was part of the coordination team of El Pumarejo in Barcelona for several years, working across programming, production and cultural management. I currently co-direct La Mansió, a project dedicated to the development and support of performing arts in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat.
I continue to work independently, collaborating with artists, companies and cultural structures across different projects and contexts.
