CÈL ZAGEL de Cèlia Legaz Soler
Caldes de Montbui / BarcelonaAlright, let's see how to start this... I've been in the performing arts for a while now. I approach this world from various angles. Maybe one day I'll stick to just one thing, but for now, here's a bit of my palette:
I am an actor specialized in physical theater (Institut del Teatre, Barcelona 2015) and visual theater (Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst, Stuttgart 2017). This often leads me to be part of creative processes where boundaries blur, and I find myself acting, building, and choreographing. So, I do a bit of everything in this realm.
Within my work, I also greatly enjoy the roles of assistant director and movement director (choreography applied to theater).
Additionally, I handle the production of some of the artistic projects I participate in.
In Barcelona, I am part of the team of El Pumarejo, and aside from doing many varied tasks due to the precarious nature of the cultural sector in Spain, I also coordinate the space La Mansió, dedicated to movement and performing arts.
In 2015, I went to study in Germany where I lived until 2019. Currently, I mostly work there.
Since 2017, I have been part of AGENTUR PUNCH where I participate as a builder, puppeteer, and production assistant (street performances with giant puppets and live music). I created WÄNDE 2016-2023 (performance-installation) with the company Leträpaar and collaborate with Jung und Jung Company on Futsch und Fort 2022 (children's puppet show) directed by artist Dora Cantero. I also provide external perspective and movement direction for New: Gravity: Now 2023 (visual performance).
I have also worked under the direction of Snuff Puppets, Materialtheater, Alberto García Sanchez, and Stefanie Oberhoff, among others.
In Spain, I work as an actor in Donde Empieza el Bosque Acaba el Pueblo (large-format visual theater show, 2022) by Cía. Monte Isla.
